Petit Verdot
This one holds its ground. Petit Verdot with dark fruit, structure, and just enough edge to keep it interesting. t’s balanced, composed, and doesn’t need much around it.
Exactly how we like it—and one we’ll keep coming back to.
Since 1750, Toll Gate Farm has been a quiet witness to history, a family homestead, a purpose-built cabin, and now, a vineyard where good wine and good people come together. Nestled in the foothills of Flint Hill, Virginia, we grow and craft small-batch wines with heart, heritage, and a whole lot of joy.

If you like Cab Franc, this one just made things official—Gold at the Virginia Governor’s Cup.
Medium-bodied, smooth, a little pepper, a lot of dark fruit.
We used to call it “shockingly good”… now we’ve got backup.
Another pink beauty. The wine is dry, has nice acid and is well-rounded. This sparkling Rose tastes like your favorite spring or summer day when you are sitting around with friends and catching up on the latest gossip. Oops. I mean the latest news from fact-based news outlets.
This Rosé just picked up a Bronze at the Virginia Governor’s Cup, which we’re pretty happy about.
Made from Cab Franc, with a short 12-hour skin contact that gives it that soft pink color. Fresh red fruit, watermelon, and yes—someone said pomegranate. As a Persian, I’ll take it.
Most sparkling white in Virginia is made from Chardonnay, but in our humble opinion, sparkling Viognier might just be better. This smooth dry wine tastes and looks like summer at the beach. People have told us this bubbly is entirely too easy to drink. You have been warned! Maybe invite friends to help you enjoy your purchase.
All orders of one case or more will receive an automatic 10% discount at check out. Because we don’t have a store front, we will work with you to ensure a mutually convenient pick-up/delivery. Once you order we can make arrangements via email or by phone.
We don’t make wine to impress. We make wine because we love it for sharing with friends and family, sitting around the dinner table or a fire pit, telling stories and laughing. We hope our wine brings you happiness and joy. From our vines to your glasses, Cheers!
